King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for the Gifted have recently launched its new Portal developed by Interactive Saudi Arabia. The new Portal was launched during the Regional Scientific Conference for the Gifted under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz.

The Secretary General of the Foundation Dr. Khaled Al Sabty, stated that the foundation has launched a number of pioneer projects during the conference. “The new Portal (http://www.mawhiba.org.sa/), will be the main gateway and the communication facilitator among all talented, gifted and creative people around the kingdom of Saudi Arabia” added Dr. Al Sabty.

“The launch of the new portal comes from the Foundation's support for the national innovation and creativity through motivation, empowerment and coordination with all sectors of society”, stated Mr. Faisal Al-Fahaid, General Manger of Information Technology Dept. “The foundation has built the new portal using the latest technology and solutions to insure the portal effectiveness, ease of management, and strong communication with the portal visitor and the community to achieve the foundation’s message and its pioneer role”, he added.

Mr. Basel Al Jabr, president of Interactive Saudi Arabia Ltd., the company which developed and implemented the new web portal, said that it was an honor for the company to have been trusted with developing this innovative web portal for the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for the Gifted. “We are proud to participate in this project which we see as a national initiative, thus we have dedicated a high caliber team for this project and they have been able to overcome its very tight deadline and to deliver a professional portal that uses the latest technologies.”, Mr. Al Jabr added.
